Located on pristine
1000 acre Lake Dubonnet which offer great bass, blue gill and pike fishing
all surrounded by the 6000 acres of the Pere Marquette State Forest
this extraordinary setting is reminiscent of something found only in
your imagination. With only eight homes on the entire lake, it isn’t
your typical all-sports lake, but rather a designated wildlife sanctuary.
Loons, swans, beaver and osprey make their home here and it is not uncommon
to see deer swimming in front of our dock! You won’t see any jet
skis but rather canoes and kayaks. If you are looking for peace and
relaxation then you have found the perfect spot. Watch the sunrise while
enjoying the sites and sounds of beautiful Northern Michigan. Deer,
geese, ducks and other wildlife are your neighbors.
Hiking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, biking, sailing, parasailing, jet
skiing, cross-country skiiing, down-hill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling
are just some of the outdoor activities you can enjoy! See our attractions
listing for all of the possibilities.
It really is endless.
In addition Interlochen is the home to the world renown Interlochen
Center for the Arts, which host weekly concert series of top name performers
all summer long. Plus we’re only 15 minutes from Downtown Traverse
City! Wineries, art galleries, shopping, casinos and great dining are
all at your fingertips.
